About Studio B-up

is a music-production team comprised of guitarist Motoki Ohno, who specializes in classical music and is also active in various genres, and bassist Testuya Ueda, who is a popular and well established player in the Japanese progressive rock scene.

 

 

Motoki Ohno

Motoki started to learn about Classical style guitar from when he 11 years old, and also started to learn Electric guitar when he 13 years old.

He studied about classical guitar under Keiichi Kimura and Kazutaka Ogawa.

also He started to play 10 strings guitar under the infulence of his teacher Kazutaka Ogawa.

and He learned Jazz style guitar and Music theory under Takashi Amano.

He specializes in classical music and is also active in various genres ,performance with so many Artist and join to so many Recording work and live performances.

Also  He enjoys an established reputation for his concert and the original arrangement which the other classical guitarist does not have.

from 2010, he participated as one of Khmer ocarina project member and voyage to Cambodia. 

they were performance and outreach to music in orphanage, school etc.

He is doing a wide range of activities which are not caught by a genre. 

he offers his music for the movie, TV game etc as Composer and Arranger.

 

Participation to Final stage of Moridaira national Finger picking contest 2005 and 2007.

Winning a prize 15th Nagoya guitar contest.

Working as teacher at Nihon Kougakuin Hachiouji college Music artist cource.

 

 

Tetsuya Ueda

Tetsuya started to learn Electric bass when he 14 years old.

He liked to play Hard rock and Heavy Metal music when he was teen age.

when he was 22 years old, met the greatest Fletless bass player Toshimi Nagai. and started to study the Fletless bass under him.

after study, he was  playing various genre music which are Prog-rock, Fusion and Pops . and participated a lot of recording, session  and help for the various singer.

 

also nowadays he is active in Daisuke Kurosawa Progressive Band.

they are playing original prog-rock music and get support from wide range without distinction of age or sex.

also he active in the other band which call Hanuman are cover and play Thai rock music, and they does live tour in Thailand every years. 

 

and he offers various genre music as Composer for Smart phone app and Consumer games.
